Tortuga`s Kitchen & Bar in Flagler Beach

Great atmosphere to go have a drink and bite to eat. The location is second to none, across from the beach, with on second floor deck and two outside bars. They have a large fire pit where live entertainment plays for patrons frequently. There also multiple fire lit table tops for families and friends to share a meal. The food is good and the service is adequate. What more could you need across from the most beautiful beach in the world.

We stopped in on a whim. Just happened to be walking by and realized we hadn't eaten dinner yet. I had the burger with the egg and it was good. The waitress was friendly. Prices were reasonable.

Very slow service. Wasn't busy at all. Food we've had way better. Waitress visiting friend. Many people complaining. Took 15 minutes to get asked about drinks. Another 15 to get. Definitely won't be back

Great food, excellent atmosphere...

Great view, food was on point and our waiter was really cool and had a contagiously happy/chill vibe to him. Highly recommended... The only downside i have to say was how rude the bartender was when we asked about seating. 👌💯

First time I ever made a trip to Flagler from Daytona. Beautiful place located right across from the beach and sea. Great menu items and delicious food. Service was extremely friendly and accommodating. Absolutely recommend stopping by and getting even just tacos, bc the food is amazing. You'll love Tortugas if you like Mexican with a beach twist.

Great service. Staff is always friendly. I have been here several times and I always order the fish and chips, so I can't rate anything more than that (which are fantastic). Ambience is wonderful. Eat outside and watch the ocean.

The host was great! Friendly, and inviting! Sadly that's where it stops. Our waitress was inattentive at best. The sweet tea was not good, so I switched to a soda. You'd think you would be charged for one not the other because a. they have free refills, and b. the first drink was bad. But, you'd be wrong. Next, the peel and eat shrimp lacked flavor, and tasted like they had been reheated before. The tacos were ok at best. The queso that you have to pay extra for comes out in a gelatinous disk. My wife had New England clam chowder, she said it tasted like clumpy milk, and soured her stomach instantly. Don't waste your time! There are far better restaurants within a two block radius! I highly suggest Flagler Fish Market!!

Great spot on the beach. Diverse menu with a lot of different options. Seafood, many different meats, all dynamic in flavor. Restaurant is clean and well-maintained. Indoor and outdoor bar, lots of patio seating and some with fire pits. Our server Steven was polite, attentive and personable. Food was very good. Highly recommend!

Place is cool, right across from the oven. Firecracker shrimp is not spicy and tastes pretty bland, so wouldn't recommend. Service was great. Fish tacos were great

Not one employee masked, close quarters both customers and employees, owner onsite also unmasked, socializing. Service is a 3 out of 5, food is 3 out of 5, firepit is a 1 out 5 due to provided chairs have zero cushioning. Music is "ALWAYS" to loud.

Jeep Ride from Jacksonville to this stopping point. All I have to say is oh my what an AWESOME place. Hurts to see the hardworking Bar Manager and Chef/Manager working extra hard to please customers with a Huge Smile, Positive Attitude and trying to focus on what they got to work with. Covid 19 go away your really hurting Florida Resturants, Beaches & Amazing Workers. Plus 🌟Star the Bar Manager is a Major Hurricane Warrior. All about our "U" Thank you for our food, sorry we couldn't eat it at the establiment but we totally understand. We sat in our Jeeps Social Distancing of course.

Good food and service. Over looking the ocean. Try to seat on the second floor.

Great place, great service, good food. Hubby had the Philly Cheese Steak and I had the Caesar salad with grilled shrimp. Both arrived quickly and were as expected. The salad was minimally dressed which fit me was a plus but some might prefer more dressing. I’d definitely go back. The view is amazing especially from the second floor.

I had Jason the waiter and he was a great waiter , loved the food, there is nothing bad about this place.

Nice atmosphere, took over 30 min to get appetizers, then the tuna tacos had me in the bathroom for two days. I would still go back. Stuff happens.

Fantastic place! Super friendly staff. Amazing menu. I had fish n chips, husband had fried shrimp. The breading they used wasn't your typical "fried food breading". They make their own tartar sauce (also amazing!!!!)And the key lime pie was so good! Definitely worth stopping in for a bite!

Alicia was our bartender/manager and she was an absolute DELIGHT! We were visiting florida for the first time after our engagement and she really made us feel special! Definitely give this girl a raise or something cuz she is a-ma-zing! Thank you and we will definitely be back!

Great atmosphere, food and service! Our server, Tanner, helped us select some super fresh and delicious food while we sipped on their huge rum runner! We chose the spicy calamari and tuna tacos... yummmm!! When our meal was over, he cleaned and made our 45 oz. souvenir glass ready for travel. We will definitely be back!

Honestly was not impressed. It was a Sunday night and really not that busy. They were out of several items and the service was pretty slow. Not horrible just not what you expect from a place in that location.

We arrived for lunch. I had the Cuban sandwich and wife had the salmon. Our waitress Harriet was attentive and helpful. We ordered the conch fritters, AMAZING!!! A bit pricey but they were drizzled with a sweet surrachi sauce. Loaded with conch meat. The Cuban sandwich and salmon Dinners were nicely prepared hot and fresh. The key lime pie was to die for. The meringue was a combination of creme fresh and marshmallow. A huge portion enough for 2. The graham cracker crust was very thick at the back. Couldn't cut it. Tasty nonetheless. Will be going back when in Palm Coast.

I really enjoyed my fish Ruben sandwich and the Caribbean wings. I was able to swaps fries for the veggie of the day, which made me very happy. Our server was very nice and attentive as well.

Dee was amazing - great food, awesome service. A storm came up, and his team took us right inside to a table right away! Cannot recommend them enough, not only for the food and service, but for the way they genuinely care for their guests. Highly recommend to anyone!

Great place for a short visit if you enjoy history. A ferry takes you from the parking area to the fort and a ranger explains how the fort was built and the need for it, very informative. When we visited dolphins were swimming around the ferry. There is no charge for the visit.

Such an adorable place across from the beach. It is so comfortable and inviting. Had an appetizer and salad which were awesome. Drinks were great. Service was great. Can't wait to go back!

They had some great calamari. It came with some spicy dipping sauce. The sauce had jalapenos and sliced small tomatoes. I didn't think I was going to like it but it was good and not too spicy. However, I didn't eat the jalapenos.

I have been to Tortuga’s 3 times this past month and every time it’s been an absolute disaster. They are extremely inconsiderate and more confrontational when it comes to something they messed up. 1 time I ordered food by phone for pick up and I asked 2 different people if a specific item in the menu was available and they both said yes. So I ordered 2 meals and drove all the way there (mind you haven’t eaten all day) and they say “sorry we don’t have that in the menu”. So then I have to wait or go elsewhere. That’s happened multiple times with them and honestly they’ve lost my service and I will consistently tell people about the bad customer service and experiences here.

Very nice staff. My kids got a free specialty drink they enjoyed very much. I don't eat seafood but my kids and husband enjoyed their seafood dishes. Hamburger wasn't the best but would come again for the friendly enviornment.

Great food and nice staff. Firecracker shrimp tacos and the fish Reuben are delicious. waitress was very friendly. Dog friendly and they provide water bowls.

I have tried since November to book/get a price for a wedding reception upstairs on deck in July. when I call I am always told same thing I just missed him. they take my number and assure me he will get back to me. I guess he doesn't want to do it. all he had to do was say so

My brother and I stopped here for dinner on a Sunday night in late January 2020. We are senior citizens and tourists. This very attractive restaurant caught our eye, passing by. But the food and service were not special at all. We got an appetizer of mussels, but half of them were not opened, meaning it was probably under-cooked. The friendly, helpful waitress gave us a price break when we complained about the mussels. The clam chowder was not real good quality, but it was filling. Burger was good. Fries were not so good. Lovely spot across the street from the ocean beach.

What can I say it’s “Tortugas” Located across from ocean. Upstairs wonderful views. Love seating in couch area for drinks then move upstairs to eat. My 3rd time there ,finally reviewing . Great food & not skimpy on plate. Everything was hot & served quickly. Just go!

We went on a cold & rainy day & were the only ones there for a while lol outdoor seating but we were still warm & had a great view of the stormy ocean! The bar staff were awesome! Elisha & Kim? The food was fabulous! Hubby had a perfectly cooked burger (rare) &I had the fish & chips... Both tasted great. We would DEFINITELY stop by the next time we're driving thru town!

Can't beat the atmosphere. Fish and chips was excellent! Drinks were excellent! Went on Friday night. Really didnt care for the entertainment. The guy singing and playing guitar and drums sounded distorted and out of tune. That kind of killed the experience to honest. But with different entertainment, would have given 5 stars!!!

Extremely polite and nice staff. They think and anticipate everything you need in a timely manner. I travel a lot through the country and I have to say florida/this place has had some of the the best service but to top it off it's nice to see genuinely happy humans out here
